2. Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only and in a manner consistent with these Terms of Use. You must not use the website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, interferes with the operation, security, or functionality of the website, or introduces malicious software, viruses, or other harmful material. You must also not misuse our contact forms or communication systems, attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems, or reproduce, distribute, or publish website content without our prior permission.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms of Use have been breached.

3. Donations

Where donations are made through this website, all donations are voluntary and are made as unconditional gifts to Zero79 Foundation.

All donations are processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store complete credit card or banking details. While we take reasonable steps to ensure secure processing, we are not responsible for failures or breaches occurring within third-party payment systems.

3.1 Donations

Where donations are stated to be tax deductible, this applies only where Zero79 Foundation is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) under Australian taxation law. Zero79 Foundation is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) from 24 November 2023.

Donors are responsible for ensuring they are eligible to claim any tax deduction in accordance with their individual circumstances. We recommend that donors seek independent professional or taxation advice if they are uncertain about their eligibility or the tax implications of their donation.

3.2 Recurring Donations

Where you set up a recurring donation, you authorise us (and our payment provider) to debit your nominated payment method at the frequency selected until you cancel the arrangement. You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us or, where available, through your payment provider’s cancellation process. Cancellations will take effect from the next billing cycle where reasonably practicable.

3.3 Refunds and Errors

Donations are generally non-refundable. However, we may, at our discretion, consider refund requests in limited circumstances, including:

  • where a donation has been made in error (for example, duplicate transactions);
  • where a payment has been processed incorrectly; or
  • where required under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

Refund requests should be made as soon as practicable after the donation is made. We may require reasonable evidence to assess the request.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.

3.4 Misuse or Fraud

We reserve the right to take appropriate action where we reasonably suspect fraudulent, unauthorised, or improper donation activity, including withholding or reversing transactions where legally permitted.
